Since over 5 years this team of allopathic and traditional alternate therapists undertaken the treatment of several hundreds of HIV/AIDS patients from various parts of India as well as from Malaysia, Srilanka, Nepal, Europe and other countries. Recently developed joint-ventures with US based scientists and commenced the Clinical trials on Cancer and AIDS patients and Santa Monica based US laboratory, Speciality Laboratory Inc., also have accepted to involve in our research projects.
Nearly 240 cases have been treated with 70% of the patients showed very good reduction in their Viral load levels with increasingly high valued CD4 and CD8 T-lymphocytes. Nearly 20% of the long term follow-up cases showed NOT DETECTED Viral Loads with sustained High T-Lymphocytes. Many of our patients showed Elisa Test HIV I & II both Negative with Viral Load also showing undetected level.
Research studies conducted at Govt. Hospital of Thoracic Medicine at Tambaram Sanatorium under Prof. C.N. Deivanayagam and Dr. A. Ananda Kumar with Tamilnadu Siddha AIDS Research Committee who declared the efficacy of Shaptha Drugs as a "break through" in AIDS Theraphy and Management in Press Meet at Chennai in September 1998 after our clinical trials on 5 full blown AIDS patients at Tambaram Sanatorium, subsequently at New Delhi 'Press Meet' on AIDS Day on 1st December 1998.
