Maschmeijer Aromatics India Limited was setup in 1960 in collaboration with the world famous Maschmeijer Aromatics B.V., Amsterdam for the manufacture of musks and fragrances. A state of the art aroma chemical plant was setup in Chennai, India, alongwith a blending unit for fragrances. In the last four decades that we have been in operation in India we have established ourselves as the largest suppliers of nitro musks namely Musk Ambrette, Musk Ketone and Musk Xylol. We are also one of the largest manufacturers of fragrances and flavours in India. Large volumes of operation with inhouse manufacture of a number of raw materials ensure that we are able to offer the best prices to our customers.

Flavour Taste is the principal factor in the appreciation of food products be it chocolates, confectionery, bakery and dairy products. With a good knowledge of diverse traditions and culinary cultures, we create flavours in harmony with clients and product requirements. That is why our flavours remain very close to our customers. We have flavours that contribute fully to the taste of a product, or others to just simply give a body to the products, thereby contributing to an increase in taste We have an entire range of flavours for use in confectionery , chocolates, milk and related products, and also flavours for use in savories. We manufacture our own tamarind and coffee extract among others.

Fragrance At Maschmeijer, our team of perfumers do not just create a new perfume , they aim to create a sensation. With a large palette of raw materials that allow immeasurable number of combinations, they have only their imagination and memory to create products that spells success to our customers. Perfumery is a fine art, which has been mastered by us over the last 40 years. Be it, creation of new fragrances to suit a customers requirement, or matching a fragrance. Duplication of a fragrance is more complicated than creating a new one, and we are proud to state we can match almost any fragrance.

Musks Musk Ambrette It has a powerful musky odour suggestive of Ambrette seed and should have a melting point of 84 to 86oC Musk Xylol It should have a powerful musky odour somewhat harsher and has a melting point of 112.5oC Musk Ketone More closely resembles the odour of natural Musks but slightly sweeter. It has a melting point of 135oC
