Unik Packing :
Prior to 1994, Pipe Fitting in India were sold loose in gunny Bags only. We at "UNIK" are always thinking of new innovations. It was due to loose packing. Pipe Fittings were not getting that respectability in the market which it deserved. Packing element was introduced for the first time in India by "UNIK".

Now more and more manufactureres of Pipe Fitting are following Dabbi packing. This is what we call "Leadership through quality and innovation".
"UNIK" Pipe Fittings after final checking are packed as follows :

Each item packed is poly pouches after multistage inspections. Poly pouches are placed in 3 ply in mini cartons. These mini cartons are sealed and passed through Shrink wrapping poly bag sealing machine to ensure safety from moisture. Such mini cartons are placed in bituminised heasin cloth 7 ply master carton. The contents of each master carton are shown on the carton. Each master carton ;in sealed with white printed heat sealable strapping.

Specifications : MATERIAL : Blackheart malleable cast iron as per IS : 14329 - 1955 grade BM - 300. THREADS : Threaded as per IS : 554-1999, parallel female and taper male threads. FINISH : Galvanised finish tested in accordance with provisions contained in IS - 4759 - 1996.
